A 4th grade boy is being called a hero after performing CPR on his dad. Landin Colson of New Hampshire knew exactly what to do when his dad fell over in the yard. While his mother was calling 911, Landin jumped into action and immediately started performing CPR, something he had recently learned at school. His mother described Landon as being calm and collected during the entire thing.
Paramedics responded shortly and took over for Landin. His dad is expected to recover and be okay.
Landin was honored by his local police and fire departments.
Personally, I think everyone should know how to do CPR and I am ashamed that I don’t. I’ve watched YouTube videos and I’ve seen enough PBS shows with my daughter to understand the basics, but I’ve never had to do it.
