Your bills have been paid, your groceries have been bought and you have $50 left. What do you do with it? For one woman in North Carolina, she chose to buy clothes for victims of Hurricane Florence at her local Walmart. Shelli Tench headed to the Walmart in Garner, North Carolina, which she said was the only store in the area that was open at the time. While she was there she asked the store manager if she could have some sort of discount so she could buy as many clothes as she could. The manager’s response SHOCKED her.
Jeff Jobes who is the manager of the store was able to offer more than just a discount… he wanted to help purchase items with her!
Shelli Trench wrote on her Facebook.. “Instead, he armed me with one of his associates (Alex) and a shopping cart and told her to fill it…on him,”
After it was all said and done, she was able to donate $1,250 worth of clothing to the shelter!
