A father in San Antonio, Texas is feeling all kinds of “feels” after his kids found the car he owned 17 years ago but had to give up in order to support his family.
His name is Wesley Ryan and he was known around the San Antonio softball community for his beloved Mustang GT. In the early 2000s, his wife was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. In order to pay all the medical bills and keep food on the table for his family, he decided to sell his beloved 1993 Mustang. He was heartbroken about selling it but he says he had to do what was right, and support his family.
After more than a decade without the vehicle, Wesley’s children, who are now grown, found it! They bought it back and surprised him with it. The emotional reveal was captured in a heartwarming Facebook video that Wesley says shows “the power and strength of what family can do.”
