Everyone working to rescue the soccer team trapped in a cave in Thailand is a hero, even more so the ones who gave their lives…
A Royal Thai Navy SEAL, Saman Kunam, is one of those heroes. He died while trying to supply oxygen tanks to the 13 people trapped two miles deep in a cavern.
Saman was diving in the caverns, placing oxygen tanks along the route out and he simply ran out of air. The selflessness if his actions are amazing. He wanted to make sure the young kids and their soccer coach had enough oxygen to get out of the cave.
As of now (5am 7/9) four boys have been pulled out of the cave. Operations resume Monday. Authorities are trying to get the team out before it starts to rain again.
Here’s a VIDEO that came up after Saman had passed. It shows him boarding a plane with the intention of getting the kids out and home.
