So the Tide Pod Challenge has been hitting the headlines for while now. The absolute ridiculousness that someone would even think of eating laundry detergent is the epitome of stupidity.
That being said, there are always people out there who can take a bad situation and have some fun with it. (No, I am not talking about the people who make memes)
In all seriousness, there have been a some businesses who have jumped on the Tide Pod bandwagon and created food and drinks that have been inspired, if not designed to look like, Tide Pods.

Introducing: PIEd Pods. Listen. We're concerned about the youths. They're eating laundry detergent pods. Our Pied Pods (filled w/cheese and roni) have that bright, alluring colors that youths crave BUT are 100% edible and 100% not soap. Plus they're delicious. #vinniesbrooklyn pic.twitter.com/ck4eni31VX

While the seriousness of why someone would ingest and actual Tide Pod is still elusive, at least those who want to have a sense of humor can show off to their friends these funny, yet disturbing, delicacies. And as for the businesses making these items…they are laughing all the way to the bank.
What do you think? Funny or bad taste?
