A Minnesota cat is getting attention online after reportedly being banned from entering the local library!

The sign says, ” Please do not let in the cat. His name is Max. Max is nice. His owner does not want Max in the library. We do not want Max in the library. Max wants to be in the library. Please do not let Max in the library.”
Evidently, Max is a wanderer. His owner, Connie Lipton, is trying to retrain him to be an indoor cat (good luck, lady) because she is afraid he could just roam around endlessly and get lost … or worse.
Look at that face, though! How could you not want Max to go everywhere with you?!
The tutoring office for the Department of Spanish & Portuguese just received a visit from a new student today. We taught Max how to say "gato."
