I’ve always been worried I might start choking and I’d be all alone in my apartment and nobody would hear me. My kitty wouldn’t do a thing either, she’s more interested in licking herself.
This man, Todd Hendricks, and his son were eating a BDubs one day. Todd was eating a few boneless wings when one suddenly went down wrong and he started to choke.
You can see in the video below he starts to struggle, it takes a few seconds, but the man at the table next to them finally sees Todd choking out of the corner of his eye. He jumps into action and perform the Heimlich maneuver on him. Fortunately, the man was able to save Todd’s life.
This guy, Dennis Palaia, is actually a New Jersey State Trooper. He was off-duty at the time, doing the same thing as Todd, eating and watching the football game.
Just watching the video, you can see it is totally a natural reaction for the trooper. He’s ability to stay calm and focused as he helped Todd is incredible. Much love to this officer for saving a man’s life.
