Donations for Emma Kiefer
“Nibbles for Emma” Benefit/Fundraiser
The friends and family of the Kiefer Family are holding a benefit for Emma Kiefer, 17 yrs old, daughter of Mark and Angie, and sister of Grace and Clayton, who was in a car accident early Sunday morning October 27th. She was T-boned at the intersection of hwy 50 and hwy 169. Emma was taken to Trinity Hospital in Fort Dodge, and was then Life-Flighted to Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines. She had a severe brain bleed, broken ribs, punctured lung, and a shattered pelvis. After operating on her Sunday morning, the doctors have placed Emma in an induced coma.
Emma is a fun loving girl and this is her senior year at SWG. She is in 4-H where she shows rabbits and other exhibits. Emma also plays golf for SWG. Emma has been a volunteer counselor at a local church camp for several summers. She has been working at the SWG daycare center this school year and loves children. She is a great girl with a great personality who has many friends and loved ones. Emma has a very long road to recovery ahead of her and her family will be staying with her every step of the way.
We would appreciate a donation to sell at either our silent auction or live auction to be held on November 23, 2013. Thank you for your generosity and kindness for a very deserving young lady and family.
