Relay For Life of Des Moines County Zumbathon®
On Saturday, April 20, 2013, the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Des Moines County and licensed local Zumba® Fitness instructors will be hosting a Relay For Life Zumbathon® event at the Burlington Gym in Downtown Burlington, Iowa.

Fusing hypnotic Latin and International rhythms with easy-to-follow moves, Zumba® Fitness is a Latin-inspired cardio workout creating a dynamic, exciting, and effective fitness system that will blow you away. Fun and music are the two inspirational ingredients that magically motivate the body to effectively burn calories and tone all muscle groups, incorporate full range of motion, and improve the cardiovascular system
Join us for the Relay For Life Zumbathon® on April 20th as a team of licensed Zumba® instructors from Burlington, Fort Madison, Hamilton, Galesburg, and Peoria lead participants in 1.5 hours of Latin rhythms to keep everyone sweating and having fun. No experience is necessary to participate in the Zumbathon®. This is a family-friendly event open to the public and welcomes all members of the community.
A Zumbathon® is a Zumba® party with all proceeds from donations going to a charity or cause. The suggested donation for the Relay For Life Zumbathon® is $10 with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Des Moines County. T-Shirts will be available for an additional suggested $15 donation. Participants wanting a t-shirt should register by April 1, 2013. Door prizes will be available at the event!

Event Date Reminders: Doors open at 12:00PM, the Zumbathon® begins at 1:00PM. Please wear comfortable workout attire with tennis shoes. Bring a towel and water bottle! Most importantly, have fun and make every move count in the fight against cancer!
