MDA event in Burlington and Mount Pleasant

Who: All community members are invited to stop in for an hour to raise their bail money.

What: A jail themed fundraising event to benefit families in Eastern Iowa & Western Illinois affected by muscle diseases. Lunch will be provided.

When: Thursday, February 21^st 11am-2pm

Where: Burlington Golf Club

Why: Because it’s fun to let your friends, family, and coworkers know you are going to jail for “good”, you have opportunities to win great prizes, and all of the money raised stays local to pay for things such as support groups, clinic visits, equipment loans and repairs, and research at the University of Iowa Hospital. Our fundraising goal this year is $15,000.

For community members in the Henry county area and it will be at the Old Threshers Museum. Participants for the Mt. Pleasant Lock-Up can go to mdalockup.org/mtpleasant13 to sign up or call the MDA office.
