The evenings’ program is titled “Stories Untold: Preserving the Old Danville Cemetery.”

whose efforts established the Congregational movement in Iowa and was one of the
founders of Grinnell College. Persons with records, stories, pictures or other memorabilia
related to the Danville Congregational Church and its cemetery are invited to bring
the materials with them to share. Conwell will share the known family history
of those currently confirmed as being buried at the cemetery and will have handouts available.
Maps will also be available to how to access the cemetery for viewing. Persons interested
in helping in the restoration, physically or financially, are also invited to attend.
