Fifth Annual Great River Hospice Fun Run/Walk

9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3

1306 S. Washington Rd., West Burlington, Iowa

 

All proceeds support Great River Hospice and the operation of Great River Hospice House.

 

Four-mile Run/Walk (No strollers, please.)

Trophies will be awarded for first place overall, and male and female winners. Medals will be awarded to the top three in each age group:

9 and under      15 to 19           25 to 29           35 to 39           45 to 49           55 to 59           65 and over

10 to14            20 to 24           30 to 34           40 to 44           50 to 54           60 to 64

 

One-mile Stroll

Walk or run around the lake. Strollers are welcome.

 

Registration  

The entry fee, which includes a long-sleeve shirt, is $20 through Friday, Oct. 19; $25 after Oct. 19. Entry forms will be accepted the day of the event, but shirts are not guaranteed. Register from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at Great River Hospice House or from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at the race tent near the lakeside walkway. 

 

The fun run/walk will take place rain or shine; no refunds. Light snacks for participants and tours of Great River Hospice House will be available after the race. The awards ceremony will begin at 10 a.m.
