Warsaw Bicentennial Schedule of Events
The schedule of events has been announced for Warsaw’s Bicentennial celebration, June 29-30 and July 1.
Friday, June 29
5 p.m. – Opening ceremony, Country Time Band at Ralston Park.
6 to 8:30 p.m. – Staggard band at Warsaw Brewery.
9 p.m. - midnight – Well Hungarians band at Warsaw Brewery.
9:15 p.m. – Fireworks by J&M displays.
Saturday, June 30
8 a.m. – Breakfast & Bluegrass Chuckwagon at Ralston Park, local musicians and old west-themed food area.
11 a.m. – Parade for Bicentennial celebration, route TBD.
1 p.m. – Barbecue in Ralston Park, sponsored by Hill-Dodge Bank.
2 to 4 p.m. – Ralston Park activities: barbershop quartet, bluegrass, kids’ games, historic displays, Mary Lynne Arms (Metternich) singing.
4 to 6 p.m. – Country Time Band at Ralston Park.
4:30 to 8:30 p.m. – Classic / Show Car Cruise begins, Brewery area.
6 to 8:30 p.m. – Jerad Harness & Blackgrass band at Warsaw Brewery.
9 p.m. - midnight – Brushfire band at Warsaw Brewery.
Sunday, July 1
Activities at Ralston Park
8 a.m. – Breakfast & Bluegrass Chuckwagon.
10 a.m. - 4 p.m. – Flea market.
11:30 a.m. – Riverfest fish fry.
Noon – Musical shows, Warsaw Trivia Game, Smokin’ Mojo Kings Blues Band.
2 p.m. – Historic Home /
Location Tours.
5 to 7 p.m. – Old fashioned ice cream social.
7 to 9:30 p.m. – Musical variety show, The Chosen Ones band.
