American Cancer Society Relay For Life Will Hold Kickoff
Rally on April 21st at Meyer’s Courtyard
On Saturday, April 21st the American Cancer Society Relay For Life® of South Lee County will officially get underway as event volunteers and participants gather for “Corks & Cupcakes,” a wine and beer tasting with cupcakes to suit every taste! This is a kickoff rally to launch their fundraising efforts for the year. This also will be an opportunity to learn more about the American Cancer Society Relay For Life and register a team for the event to be held on Friday, July 27th – Saturday, July 28th at Rand Park in Keokuk.
This event is also being planned to help to celebrate Lee County’s #1 in the Midwest Division (Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota and Wisconsin) fundraising status for a county of its size based on the 2011 Relay For Life events in South Lee and North Lee County.
