Sometimes you get that golden moment, where you can make a statement when you quit. In this case, Cedric Workruff used the song “Still Not a Player” by Big Pun as his exit from his job at Popeye’s in Kansas City. He even went so far as to make his own lyrics to the song to fit the occassion. His hope was to go viral…and it worked.
(BTW, this has some bad language, so it would be best away from kids…and the boss)
I think the best part of this video is that, not only can the guy keep rhythm, but he even had his (now former) co-workers and customers dancing to his beats. If you look, even though his boss wasn’t too happy about having to deal with the situation, she had a smile on her face because she seemed a bit amused.
Like we say in radio, “you say do anything on the radio…once”. You may not have a job afterward, but you get one shot. If you dare, make it worthwhile.
