Have you ever lost something and then found it the next day? Maybe even the next week, or the next year? One time, I lost a wad of cash tips I had from work and I don’t even know how many weeks later I found it, but it was like getting $200 out of nowhere!
The feeling is amazing!
Now, imagine it’s been nearly 20 years since you’ve been without your prized possession and THEN you suddenly get it back…
That’s what happened to 28 year old Kamron Goldbaf from California. He had a 1998 Honda CR 80 dirt bike when he was kid, unfortunately, when he was 11 years old, it got stolen.
17 years go by, Kamron now 28, suddenly is reunited with his bike! How does this happen almost two decades later?
The bike was up for sale on Craigslist and somebody legitimately tried to buy it. When the buyer went to register it at the DMV, there were no records of it. That’s a heck of a red flag right there…
The case was turned over to California Highway Patrol and they determined the bike was reported stolen! The investigation into the Craigslist debacle is ongoing, clearly they want to find who the seller (possible thief) was.
But for now, Kamron got his dirt bike back! It’s just a little sad that he is too big to hop on for a ride!
