Iowa point guard Jordan Bohannon missed the amazing shot ever in the Hawkeye’s game against Northwestern on Sunday. Yeah… the most amazing MISSED shot!
You’re probably thinking… how is that even? Do people get credit for missing a shot? Well… a shot like this they do.
Back in 1993, the record for most consecutive free throws made was set at 34 by Chris Street, who is a Hawkeye legend. Chris died 3 days after he set that record in a horrific car accident.
The time came, 25 years later, Jordan Bohannon was at the free throw line on Sunday, he just had to make one more and he would set the new record at 35. He intentionally missed that free throw. He did it out of honor for Christ Street.
"That's not my record to have. That record deserves to stay in his name."

Jordan said the record “deserves to stay in his name.”
What an incredible amount of selflessness and respect this young man has for such a legend to the Hawkeye nation.
