An off-duty New Jersey state trooper recently saved the life of a choking two-week-old infant.
Officer Robert Meyer was returning from his night shift when a neighbor ran to his house and shouted that her two-week-old granddaughter was choking.
Meyer immediately bolted from his house without shoes on to save the baby’s life.
He used a bulb syringe to clear her airway. The baby has made a full recovery.
