Last week, several officers from Billings, Montana banded together to spread a little joy, positivity, and happiness throughout the community, in the form of Thanksgiving turkeys!
Officers Brandon Ihde, Andrew Sanders and Eric Schnelbach pulled over drivers for minor traffic violations. But, instead of giving them a ticket, they let them off with a warning… and a free turkey!
A local businessman donated the turkeys for officers to hand out to drivers. Their Facebook page has been blowing up with positive feedback.
Billings, Montana police Lieutenant Neil Lawrence said that this is the first year they did this… my guess is, they might do it again next year! Props to the local businessman who donated the turkeys and the officers for spreading some cheer in the community.
