Here is small story about Nigel. He was given to the MSPCA when one one walking by found him by a dumpster looking cold and scared, but one thing was very noticeable about Nigel…he didn’t have a nose. Because of the love of the people at the MSPCA, they gave him what he needed most, reconstructive surgery to make Nigel look normal and to have a nose, thanks to Spikes Fund, which supplies the money needed for emergency surgeries for animals.
While a nose to a cat, from appearances, doesn’t make him a pariah to other cats, it would make him hard to adopt out and there are related health issues. But now, as you can see, Nigel seems as normal as any cat could.
