Since it is Halloween and not everyone does the Trick or Treat thing with the kids, the adults need some treats to enjoy too. So, Delish came up with a list of drinks that are sweet and spooky enough for all of us to enjoy.
- The Cotton Candy Shot: While Cotton Candy isn’t considered to be a traditional Halloween Candy, it is a good one. Like a ghost, as soon as the vodka and cotton candy mix, it disappears, like a ghost. (seems like a stretch, but you get the point)
- Black Magic Margaritas: Now we are talking, Nothing says celebration like a margarita. It is a traditional combination of tequila, triple sec and lime juice, with black sugar, red, blue and green food coloring. Easy and mmm, yummy.
- Jeckyll and Gin: Nothing fancy, except for the glow stick
- Jell-Glow Shot: Tthis is yummy fruity goodness with 3 layers of flavors: Pineapple and Orange Jello and Vodka
- Sweet Poison Cocktail: This is just a Blue Hawaiian with another name, but sweet, for sure.
- The Zombie Cocktail: The flavors of rum, apricot, lime and coconut will make your eyes roll back for sure.
- The Risen From the Grave Cocktail: This one just looks creepy, it has a red strawberry puree at the bottom, which looks like blood. Very cool looking
- Transformation Cocktail: Hope you have a high tolerance, this one has a ton of alcohol, but you won’t taste is, according to those who have reviewed it.
- Good and Evil Cocktail: Another one with yummy, fruity goodness…but pace yourself, it has been known to give a hangover or 2.
- Blood Orange Margaritas: Just a margarita, but you use blood oranges, instead of limes.
- Bloody Black Currant Punch: Almost as easy as trashcan punch, but with more class. 4 ingredients and there you go.
- Dark and Stormies: Nothing fancy, just frozen ginger beer with ginger beer poured over it. Basically, it is ginger beer…with ginger beer…and bit of rum
- Mulled Red Wine: Pepper corns, cinnamon, and added sugar to red wine…if you can handle the sweetness and flavors, you are a stronger person than I
- Vampire Kiss: Champagne, candy corn, gummy worms and wax teeth…this one definitely sets the Halloween vibe
- The Witch’s Heart: Blackberry Liqueur that has a steam wafting from it. Creep and powerful
- The Purple People Eater: 3 liquors and grape juice. Sounds like a kids drink, huh?
- Embalming Fluid: Yep, straight embalming fluid…no, seriously, it’s vodka, sour apple, lime and ginger ale. Looks gross, sounds gross, but tastes like heaven.
