This is probably the only Budweiser product I’m okay with drinking. It’s called the 1933 Repeal Reserved.
The recipe for this beer was developed by Aldophus Busch before prohibition started. He brewed it to distribute around the St. Louis area and eventually others. But then 1920 came… prohibition was, obviously, the main thing on everyone’s mind and the whole thing basically got shut down.
But now, it’s getting a second chance at life. They say it has higher alcohol content as well, much higher than a normal Bud or Bud Light. <—– why I don’t have a problem trying it.
Anheuser-Busch claims it has a light aroma with a rich, caramel malt taste. It sounds a little better than really watery urine.
It’ll only be available for a limited time come later this holiday season.
