66 year old Greg Zanis is a retired carpenter living in Chicago. He has made a name for himself by erecting special, handmade crosses for the victims of mass shootings, dating all the way back to Columbine.
Recently, Greg drove over 2,000 miles with 58 of the crosses for every victim of the Vegas shooting.
He installed them on the grass next the iconic “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign, not too far from the where the Rout 91 Harvest Festival was happening.
The crosses take Greg about 2 days to make. He made the first one for his father, who was also a shooting victim.
It’s a very touching STORY.
