So we know you pair chicken and fish with White Wine. You pair beef and red sauces with Red Wine. But what do you pair a Blue Wine with?
I know, it took me a second to digest that one, too. Blue Wine? It’s call Gik blue wine and up until now, it was only available overseas in Europe and the Russia. But it is arriving on our shores at a mere $11/bottle. They say it is a combination of red and white grapes, no is sugar added so it is all natural sugar that ferments in the bottle.
Translation: fewer carbs and healthier, plus it is smoother and easier to drink.
A commercial for Gik shows a blind taste test, while they commercial is in a different language, you can see their genuine pleasure of drinking this wine…and when the blindfolds come off, well, just watch and see.
So far, it is planned for release in only a few cities in September in Boston and Miami, then will move across the USA toward California. So that means those of us in the Midwest states may get to enjoy it soon!!!
